IT-Jam 2009 to be held on October 31

The second annual conference of Ukrainian developers and IT-professionals IT-Jam 2009 to be held on October 21, 2009 in Kyiv. This year the event is going to change its format: it will consist of thematic mini-barcamps, a panel discussion, and a party with informal communication.

The main idea of the conference is knowledge sharing and peer-to-peer communication. The mini-barcamps will be devoted to the following topics:

• Dynamic Programming Languages (Ruby on Rails, Python, Perl);
• Mobile Development (iPhone, Android, Blackberry);
• Agile (Scrum, XP, Kanban);
• RIA (Flash, Silverlight, Flex);
• CMS (Drupal, EPiServer, Joomla).

After the mini-barcamps a panel discussion “Software Development Ukraine 2012” with top-managers and owners of the leading IT companies will be held. In the course of the discussion the participants will have an opportunity to ask them any question, hear the opinion on where Ukrainian IT industry is going, learn what are the main challenges for developers and managers and how to overcome them.
