Kirusa launches Call-n-Tweet |
|
A new service that allows to share audio files on a popular microblogging website Twitter is now available for those who want to tell their story or share their opinion on Twitter.
This service is powered by Kirusa, a vendor of Voice SMS and developer of mobile added services. The service is called Call-n-Tweet. It does not transform voice into text but uploads the file on the server and posts the link to the file on Twitter. The service is free of charge.
The service may come in handy to those who want to share their opinion on Twitter but, for example, are not sure in their literary skills or literacy. Call-n-Tweet may also prove useful to those who used to be too lazy to post something on their blog, and now they will be able to announce their point of view publicly without ceremony.
The representatives of Kirusa emphasize that it is much safer to post voice messages on Twitter than to try to tweet a text message when you are, for example, driving a car.
To take advantage of the new service you should register your mobile phone number and Twitter user account on the Call-n-Tweet official website. When you complete the registration, the system will start using this information for processing your voice messages.
