For most of modern companies promotion of their business on the Internet is not a luxury but a direct necessity because a huge number of potential clients who may be interested in goods and services offered by these companies are active Internet users. Almost half of Ukrainian users in Google Plus (45,6%) are young people aged 18 to 24 years. A little more than one-third of users (35,7%) are people aged 25 to 34 years, almost 12% are people aged 35 to 44 years, and about 7% are users older than 45 years.
According to the statistics most of Ukrainian users in Google Plus live in Kiev – 48,84%. Kiev is followed by such cities as Kharkov, Donetsk, Lvov, Dnepropetrovsk, Sevastopol, Simferopol etc.
Ukrainian users in Google Plus are engaged in various spheres of human activity. The widest category of users consists of students – almost 12% of the total Google Plus audience. The most widespread professions among Google Plus users from Ukraine are web developers, software developers, SEO engineers, designers, photographers, managers, marketing specialists, IT specialists etc.
